
Terms and Conditions of Hire
1. Check in time on day of arrival is 16.00pm
2. Check out time on day of departure is 10.00am.
3. Early check-in and late check-out may be possible and is subject to availability at no extra charge
4. Cancellations, please note that once a booking has been confirmed, you are liable for the whole cost of the holiday. However we will, in any event, endeavour to re-let the property and if successful, we will make a refund to the value of the re-let period, less a 10% administration charge. Accordingly, it is important that cancellations are intimated to us by telephone followed by immediate written confirmation. For this reason we highly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover every eventuality.
5. Your booking must be paid in full 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay. If payment is not received within the 6 weeks then the lessor may treat the booking as cancelled.
6. If the booking is made within 6 weeks of the commencement of your stay, payment in full is required at the time of booking.
7. You agree that, in the event of cancellation, while all reasonable efforts will be made by the lessor to re-let, that you will be responsible for 100% of the period of tenancy booked if a suitable cannot be found.
8. The Hirer shall ensure that the standard of
cleanliness is as high on their departure as on arrival. A surcharge of £40
will be levied if this condition is not observed.
9. The Hirer shall not sub-let the premises or any part thereof.
10. The number of people occupying the premises shall not exceed 4 (four).
11. The Hirer binds and obliges himself to vacate the hired premises without demand at the termination of the period of hire.
12. The Hirer binds and obliges to pay the Lessor in respect of any loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear.
13. The Hirer shall undertake to prevent any member of his party from causing a nuisance or disturbance to enamouring residents or occupiers.
14. The Hirer undertakes to relieve the hired premises secure if left unoccupied during the period of let. 15. We reserve the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You acknowledge that your use of our website and its content is at your own risk. If you are
dissatisfied with this site, its content or these conditions then your only remedy is to end your
use of the website.
We shall have no liability to you or any third party for any direct, special, indirect,
Consequential or incidental damages, exemplary or lost profits, or any other damages
of any kind whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise.
Any use by you of the website operated by blyde tae bide at www.blyde-tae-bide.co.uk (the “Site”) is conditional upon your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time without notice and at our discretion. It is your responsibility periodically to review this page for updates to these Terms & Conditions, which shall come into effect once posted. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, including our Privacy Statement. We reserve the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue any portion of the Site at any time. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or the entire Site without notice or liability. The Site is operated by Blyde Tae bide.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations should be notified in writing. If cancelled before the 6 week deadline, thedeposit and any rental paid will be refunded less a 10% administration fee. After the 6 weeks the rental will be retained unless the cancelled period is re-let. It is recommended that you seek personal travel insurance to cover the costs of cancellation. Should the property, subsequent to booking, become unavailable through any cause, the owner’s liability is limited to the repayment of any rent already paid.
ACCESS TO THE APARTMENT
The apartment is normally available from 16:00 hours on the arrival date, until 10:00 hours on the departure date, unless by agreement with the owner.
The owner or her representative will meet guests at the property on the day or arrival, or guests will be given a 4 digit code to enter in a black key safe at the accommodation on arrival. On the day of departure, lock the door of the flat and post the keys back through the letter box, or return to the black key safe, this will vary on prior agreement.
The owner has a right to refuse to hand over the property to any person deemed unsuitable to take charge. Causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbors or unreasonable behavior may result in the owner asking guests to leave.
The booking agreement confers the right to guests to occupy the accommodation for the agreed period only. All persons will vacate the property at the end of the holiday period and no right to remain in the property after the end of the holiday period booked exists. (The property let is to be used for the purposes of a holiday let to which Section12 (2) and paragraph 8 of Schedule 4 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 apply).
The owner has the right to access to the property at all reasonable times.
